Masterforce Super Ginrai begins when a human finds he has the power to merge with a Transtector to become the power source for a giant robot. The merge was referred to as being a Godmaster.
In North America The Power Masters were aliens from the planet Nebulus and they served as the power source for the robot mode. The one for Optimus was called High-Q.
