Power Master Optimus Prime was known as Super Ginrai in the Japanese series Masterforce.
Hasbro released this figure originally as a headmaster and the one I'm reviewing is a customized version that has been built using parts from the Takara Super Ginrai version and the Perfect Effect add on upgrade.
The original release was based on an extensive remould of the Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus figure and shares many transformation elements.
The head has been replaced and features a light up option making the eyes more vibrant .
The front cab has been replaced with the Takara Ginrai version for a more original look.
The guns now sport a symmetrical style by purchasing an extra rifle from eBay.
Shoulder armaments were replaced with missile pods.
