Microman Magne Robotman Endeavour was released as a companion piece to Takara's Robotman Dean. If Dean was a tribute to the original Microman robot then Endeavour was his big bad Macross like cousin.

In North America the original Microman figure was marketed as Biotron from Mego's Micronauts line that was popular in the 70's. Unlike his modern day counterpart the original Robotman was not laden with magnetic points but was still a versatile toy with many swappable limbs and options. One had ports to provide all the different combinations a child could make.

Endeavour has a cockpit the can accommodate a Magne Micro figure.
In addition the figure has multiple options and vehicle configurations, similar to Robotman Dean.
