Side by side comparison of the G1 and G2 Optimus primes. The Earthrise version has some third party add ons which include a longer trailer hitch, extended side risers and roller.
The two moulds share very little in reused parts with a small exception in the waist, legs and feet.
Robot mode:
It's a shame that the eyes don't show up very well on either figures. I also enhanced both with a better ion blaster that I found on eBay, also I ditched the ridiculous blue axe. Personally it looks like a giant lollipop to me.
