Megatron as a Tank? I'm willing to buy that more than as a handgun! In my personal opinion The leader of the mighty Decepticon / Destron army needs to display an alt mode worthy of his stature.
The Hasbro Combiner Wars version of Megatron is a real treat! The figure is COATED with silver paint and the best part is, that it doesn't come off despite numerous transformations!

The figure also sports rubber treads that roll a nice touch.

Also it turns out that I did get a SGT Detour... 2 in fact! Not only that but a Spike Witwicky as well. I guess I didn't look at all the extras that were packed with my Reverb.

In tank mode the turret can swivel thanks to the arm joints being engineered to turn in unison. The tank itself resembles an M1 Abrams.
And the mould details are just crazy!!!
Raising the cannon is possible with some finagling.
Overall a nice addition to the Megatron collection.
