The Road Spartan is from Takara's 2005 Microman line up and boy is this thing awesome. Along with four separate vehicles and drivers the whole thing can combine to form a huge battle-wagon armed to the teeth and ready for action. This offering is somewhat unique in that it skips the Microman chrome design ethic and instead opts for solid colour plastic reminiscent of classic anime design.
The story of the Road Spartan group was that they were formed as a support team for the
Magne Micromen, (I'll be doing a review of them in a later segment)
with each bike designed to match its Microman Road Force rider.
Microman Kaito with RS-01 Mach Slugger: Kaito is the"un-official" leader of the Road Spartan crew, the story being that Microman Ryu was nominated but turned down the position because of his hatred for humans.

Armoured mode:
Next up... we have Microman Ryu with RS-02 Ride Python. Ryu turned down the position of Road Spartan leader on the fact that he didn't want to take orders from humans, later he reluctantly changes his mind when he realizes his friends are in danger, especially Microlady Ray whom he has a relationship with.
