Megaro Zamac: Jhau Zamac

 

Megaro Zamac: Jhau Zamac this is definitely an old school 80's kit and the engineering shows, however I'm planning on making mods to improve on this 旧キット, (Kyū kitto) or old kit as the term.

The plan is to add better proportions to make it look less like a limited brick and more like a modern update.

I will attempt to do this by slicing the parts up and making radical alterations, adding and building up areas while still retaining the spirit of the original mech. 

Starting with this...

Separating the waist and revising the power hoses.

Cutting out the visor/eye area. The head gives me a Gyan or Dom vibes.

Reshaped the head and added a waist extension with wires for swivel in the legs. 

Also improved the "A stance on the legs making them spread wider to look more aesthetically pleasing.

Added some interior details in the head, not sure if they will show up but it looks cool.

While I was at it I decided to mold some resin copies of my Mastergrade GM federation pilots. It took 4 tries (the first one broke into pieces and cannot be shown) but I eventually got it right. Not really related to the subject model, but cool nonetheless.
