Foam Tie Fighter Pilot: Continued

 

Beginning the finishing touches on my foam Tie Fighter Pilot.

Still have to add hoses and details to the chest box, but it seems to be coming along nicely.

Also I need to add the Imperial cogs at the top, but all in good time.

I decided to do some additional work on the frown as I felt the first run lacked depth and didn't seem convincing enough.

I'm looking for completion by Halloween. 

Hoses attached and tested. More to follow...

Update: Added finishing details to the bucket vocoder, lenses, teeth and greeblies...

Pretty much in the home stretch as far as the helmet is concerned, now I just need to finish the chest box and assemble the front and back plates.

Chirico Cuvie Updated and Improved

 

Okay so after staring at the Chirico helmet that I made I concluded that... it really sucks!

In response I decided to cut up the existing piece and add much more accurate improvements through techniques and refinements. 

I added a better looking visor as well as connecting the mask closer to the face.

The results are as follows.

Yeah, I think this looks closer to the anime version.

Update: adding the breathing hose and O2 tank to the mask...

Tie Pilot Continued

I've decided to go the whole nine yards on this so this is my progress so far.

Thus I started to form the front and back plates.

Next I started work on the chest box
