Wedding Troop

Had a request for a couple that wanted a Star Wars based wedding. we showed up at the scene.

The bride also expressed her love for scouts...

No, we didn't elope... lol.

Christmas Troop

 Just recently did a weekend troop for a local con. Been a while since I've worn the old TK but everyone who attended loved our presence. Thanks to my friend Mike who managed to bring some festive cheer with his outfit.

All in all a good time.

Stormtrooper Black Series Helmet

 

Found a Black Series helmet at a local toy fair and I decided to have some fun with it by adding some interior detail. Not screen accurate, (is there really a screen accurate shot of the inside?). I know there is a version in a Star Wars cross section book somewhere, but I don't care much for the lenses being covered by greeblie bits so I decided to do my own thing.

On top of that I don't have all the details or resources to recreate it faithfully. 

Besides I'm not a fan of the way it's depicted in the first place.

So I'm going to do it my way.

I took the sections apart and started gluing foam to the interior.

A fun weekend project, That's all for now.

Foam Tie Fighter Pilot: Continued

 

Beginning the finishing touches on my foam Tie Fighter Pilot.

Still have to add hoses and details to the chest box, but it seems to be coming along nicely.

Also I need to add the Imperial cogs at the top, but all in good time.

I decided to do some additional work on the frown as I felt the first run lacked depth and didn't seem convincing enough.

I'm looking for completion by Halloween. 

Hoses attached and tested. More to follow...

Update: Added finishing details to the bucket vocoder, lenses, teeth and greeblies...

Pretty much in the home stretch as far as the helmet is concerned, now I just need to finish the chest box and assemble the front and back plates.
