Generations Leader Jet Fire

 

Alright Leader class Jet Fire, this a good looking figure that takes cues from its original Macross Valkyrie roots while adapting its Transformer G1 animation heritage.

I can't help but think that the red chrome finish on his accessories make him look appropriate for this Christmas season (During the time of this article), giving him a festive appearance.

The figure stands at about slightly over 12 inches, when you include the fast pack attached to his back. Crazy!!!

This figure has some serious bling, making him a finger print magnet.

Definitely a very good looking jet mode. the lines flow nicely and it doesn't look like the underside is trying to hide a robot. Personally I feel the problem with most jetformers is what to do with the chest. How do we hide it. Jet Fire solves that problem by becoming part of the fuselage.

A good looking robot mode to boot, with some nice details in the chest.

This figure is also replete with ratchet joints. The Fast pack on the back is on a swivel to reduce the amount of height on his backpack. 

The downside is that this figure is quite hollow with gaps in arms and legs making him feel light. Still looks good though.

There's even an option to display him without his face mask revealing a head that matches his animation counter part with good light piping. Me, personally I prefer the face mask.

All in all a good figure if you can forgive the short comings.
